MODES OF THERAPY

Equine Sport Therapy

Equine Sport Massage

The sensitivity of the horse's entire body surface makes them especially receptive to therapies that are based on touch. Massage can be used as a generalised way of relaxing or to pin point and release specific areas of tension within certain muscles.

Cycloid Hand Massage

The horse has 25 main nerve and acupressure points which can become blocked resulting in muscular tension and pain, shortened stride, loss of flexion and lameness. The hand massage unit is used directly on these nerve areas to relieve the symptoms.

PEMF - PULSED ELECTRO MAGNETIC TREATMENT

PEMF is a non-invasive form of therapy that can be used for horses, dogs or humans to treat the following conditions: chronic pain, acute inflammation, fractures and bone damage, circulatory problems, soft tissue problems i.e tendon inflammation, sore backs, muscle tightness and fatigue. click here to read more about the action and benefits of PEMF

Soft Tissue Mobilisation

Release of specific areas of tension within muscles using stress point therapy enables the muscle groups to contract and relax giving your horse increased range of movement and release from pain.
